Traveling both for pleasure and work is a great opportunity to write. New experiences and people lead to new insights and help me not only learn about the world, but also about myself. I started this blog in the summer of 2007 and have continued it using photography, interviews, and my insight with a focus on the human condition and the dilemmas of an individual that wants to make a difference in an unpredictable world.

- After graduating from MIT in 2008, I began working at the Science and Technology Policy Institute in Washington DC. My work is focused on international science and technology. When I'm not working, I try to travel as much as possible, and work in international development. I aspire to work fulltime in sustainable international development and to continue my work as a photojournalist.
